Workshop attendees will work through the various causes of poor condition in ewes and learn about the impact on health, fertility, production and welfare. There will be a focus on introducing learners to the five iceberg diseases and understanding control and preventative measures. The importance of body condition scoring will be highlighted and guidance given on how to approach individual or group issues with ewe condition. Adhering to strict biosecurity will also be discussed as a means of keeping the iceberg diseases out of naïve flocks.
