Don’t let dead animals be in vein, there is always something useful to gain from a body. Determining cause of death to prevent future deaths and even taking samples for disease testing or nutrition analysis.
We will teach you the basics of lamb post-mortems so that you can carry them out on your own farm. There will be both theory and a hands on practical. You will get materials to take away to help you carry these out successfully on your own.
Although being done on lambs, the skills are transferable so you should be able to do these on adult sheep too.
